An intricate web of aggregates. This is one of my favorite percussive ambient masterpieces of M. Mael Nourian. I can easily imagine film-score possibilities. The tension builds and constricts---it pulsates, as the title makes reference to. A variegated piece from an extremely imaginative & profound composer, this scintillating masterwork enchants and thrills and fades into an impressionist afterglow! I cannot extol this wonderful music enough! Bravo! M. Nourian!
