Using the French folk tune Une Jeune Pucelle, as well as her orginal tune, Jayne creates a lovely setting for the Advent and Christmas season. After a chant-like introduction, the piece comes alive with rhythm, repetition and intensity. This piece would work well for mixed choirs of all ages.
